Charles has kept the movement within the stone fairly simple and restrained, allowing the viewer to enjoy the fascinating internal colour and texture of the medium.
Avocado serpentine, named for its green and yellow colouring, is hard and impermeable. As a result, it is naturally frost-resistant; you can display it both indoors and outdoors. Charles has sanded the stone, then heated and waxed it with clear wax to bring out all the wonderful natural colour of the stone.
Imperial measurements are: 41 1/2″ (h) x 20 1/2″ (w) x 12″ (d) and 157 1/2lbs.
Overseas shipping is from Zimbabwe via air or sea freight;
P&P at buyer’s expense.
Please note freight is as cargo to your nearest port; you would need to engage the services of a clearing agent to do customs clearance and arrange onward haulage to your delivery address. This isn’t as complicated as it might sound, and using an agent is definitely better than trying to do it yourself.
