About Beaven
Beaven Kututwa is a renowned Shona sculptor from Zimbabwe whose works are showcased internationally, especially in Germany and at the National Art Gallery of Zimbabwe.
Beaven Kututwa was born on 23 April 1973 in the Zimbabwean Eastern border city of Mutare. He started his working life at Miekles Hotel in the 90's and left in 1995 to pursue his artistic passion. He joined Dominic's Studio under the guidance of the famous Alfred Gutsa.
Beaven’s artistic inspiration is derived from traditional Shona sculpture and also for his passion for Zimbabwean wildlife. Beaven is a wildlife conservationist and a practicing Tour Guide.
International exhibitions:
Beaven has produced custom commissions for the IOM -the International Organisation for Migration, the Zimbabwean Government, the Royal Psychiatric Association of Northern Ireland and the Zimbabwe International Film Festival Trust.
